What exactly is a replacement panel graphic? +
A printed panel cut to the same dimensions as the plain white infill panels the organiser installs in your Octanorm frame. The white panel comes out, yours slides into the same groove, and at the end of the show it comes out again. Nothing is screwed, taped or glued to the aluminium. You finish with a stand whose walls are your artwork, rather than a white box with a poster stuck to it.
Why not just pay the organiser to print my panels? +
Because you are paying a per-panel rate to a contractor with a captive market, you get one print run you do not own, and the file spec lands late. Buying your own panels works out cheaper across a stand of six or nine panels, gives you a set you can reuse at the next show when the panel size matches, and lets you proof the artwork properly instead of approving a PDF at the last minute.
How do I find the right panel size? +
Read your exhibitor manual and do not assume. Octanorm infill is commonly around 950mm x 2350mm within a 1m module on a 2.5m high wall, but organisers and stand contractors vary it, and some halls run 990mm or shorter panels. The manual for your specific show lists the panel dimensions and how many panels sit in each wall. Send us that page and we will cut the files to those figures.
Can I drill into the frame or stick things to it? +
No. Exhibitor manuals prohibit drilling, screwing, nailing, painting and adhesive on the organiser's Octanorm frame, and damage is charged back to you at the end of the show. That includes double-sided tape residue on the uprights. Everything hangs from the panel grooves, from proprietary Octanorm hooks and arms, or stands on the floor. Ask the organiser before fixing anything at all, and get the answer in writing.
Which size do I order for a 3m x 3m stand? +
The 3m wide x 3m depth option, which covers the back wall and both side walls of a standard in-line stand. A 3m x 2m stand has shorter side walls, so ordering the 3m x 3m kit leaves you with panels you cannot use. A corner stand with one open side needs fewer side panels again, so tell us the layout rather than only the floor area.
What does the full coverage seamless option give me? +
A single printed fabric skin running across the whole wall face instead of panel by panel, so artwork crosses the aluminium uprights and there is no vertical line every metre. It looks considerably better for a large image or a photograph, and it costs more. Panel-by-panel graphics are easier to reuse and cheaper to fix, because a scuffed panel means reprinting one panel rather than a whole wall.
How is this different from a tension fabric backdrop wall in the same stand? +
Panels use the organiser's frame, a tension fabric wall brings its own. Panel graphics cover all three walls for less money and take up no floor depth, but they only exist while you have shell scheme. A freestanding tension fabric wall stands 100mm forward of the back wall, works at any show including space-only stands, and leaves you a hidden storage gap behind the graphic.
