SEG Truss Banner Displays

A bolted aluminium truss frame with printed fabric skins tensioned over it on a silicone bead, giving a structural look with a flush graphic face. It builds either as a wide backdrop or entry gantry, or as a freestanding vertical tower.

Good communication. Very helpful. The product we ordered is as we anticipated. A canvas bag was included, along with Velcro tape for installation. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Frequently Asked Questions

How high can I go before the venue gets involved? +
Most Australian halls allow a freestanding structure to about 2.5m inside a shell scheme bay and up to 4m on a space-only stand, but the number is set in the exhibitor manual, not by the hardware. Anything suspended from the roof is a different matter entirely and must be installed by the venue's approved rigger. These displays are floor-standing, so weight the base properly and keep the footprint inside your allocated space.
Display or tower, which one do I need? +
The Portable Modular SEG Truss Display if you want a wide face people read from the aisle, the Modular SEG Truss Tower Display if you want to be found from across the hall. A tower has a small footprint, usually under a metre square, and carries a logo above head height where nothing blocks it. It holds far less copy. Many stands run one tower at each front corner and a wide display across the back.
How is this different from a tension fabric wall or an SEG popup wall? +
Truss is structural and it looks it. A tension fabric wall or a kit from SEG Pop-Up Fabric Displays gives you a flat printed surface and hides the frame completely, which is what you want for a clean brand wall. Truss shows the lattice through and around the graphic, reads as staging rather than retail, and takes more time and more people to build. Choose truss for entries, stages and outdoor-style events.
How long does it take to build, and how do I order? +
Two people and about an hour for a tower, longer for a wide display, and the truss bolts together without power tools. To order, send the width and height you have available plus the venue name so we can sanity-check the height rule. Artwork assistance and a 2D mockup are free. Contact support@backdropsource.com.au or +61 7 3053 8668; shipping is free Australia-wide and the truss and hardware are covered by a 1-year warranty.
