Can a single frame span the whole 9m? +

No. Single SEG frames top out well short of 9m, so a run this long is tiled from two or three frames butted together. Use three 3m sections rather than a 6m plus a 3m, because three even joins read as a deliberate rhythm across the face while one off-centre join reads as a mistake. Plan where each join lands before the artwork is laid out, so a logo never sits across a seam.

What frame depth should I choose between 20mm and 120mm? +

Depth controls how far the graphic stands off the wall and how much shadow it throws. The Wall-Mounted SEG Fabric display - 20mm Depth sits almost flush and suits a graphic that should read as printed wall. From 80mm up the frame becomes a projecting box that catches light and is legible from further down the aisle, and it is the depth range that accommodates internal lighting. Deeper frames weigh more per metre and cost more to freight.

What do these actually mount to? +

Your own structure, not the venue's building. Almost no exhibition hall permits fixing into its walls, columns or floor, and the exhibitor manual will say so plainly. In practice the frames go onto a timber or aluminium substructure you bring or hire, onto the rear face of a shell scheme where the organiser allows it, or onto a custom stand build. Confirm the fixing method with your stand builder before you order frame depths.

How many people and how long for a 9m install? +

Three to four people and most of a build-up day, so four to five hours once the substructure is standing. Two of that crew are doing nothing but holding sections level while a third fixes. This is not a build you schedule around staff arriving on the morning of the show. Trades doing the install need to be inducted through the organiser, which is a form you lodge weeks ahead.

How do I keep a 9m face level and the joins tight? +

Set a laser line along the whole run before you fix anything. Exhibition hall floors are poured for vehicle traffic and commonly fall 20mm to 40mm across nine metres, so a frame levelled off the floor at one end will be visibly out at the other and the joins will open up. Shim from the low end, check the line at every join, and only then start seating the fabric.

Can I hang signage above a stand this size? +

Yes in most halls, and it is usually worth it at 9m because your own wall is only 2.5m tall in a room with a very high ceiling. Overhead rigging is carried out by the venue's approved rigger and by no one else, booked through the exhibitor manual weeks before the event. Height limits and point loads differ between halls, so check the rules for your specific hall at ICC Sydney or MCEC before sizing anything.

When is 6m enough, and when do I want a full island kit instead? +

Stay with 6m Trade Show Displays & Backdrops if your frontage is a single continuous run you can build in an afternoon with two people.
