SEG Pop-Up Fabric Displays

A collapsible aluminium lattice that pulls open from its case into a back wall, with printed panels seated on a silicone bead so the face reads as one piece. Straight and curved versions, some with a TV mount, shelves or a recessed LED ring.

Good communication. Very helpful. The product we ordered is as we anticipated. A canvas bag was included, along with Velcro tape for installation. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We are very happy with the result and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will one of these cover the back of a 3m shell scheme stand? +
Yes, and it is the usual reason people buy one. A 3m popup wall fills the back of a standard Australian shell scheme bay and sits under the 2.5m Octanorm wall height, so nothing shows above the scheme. Stand it 80mm to 100mm off the back panel to clear the panel clips. Check the clear internal width in the exhibitor manual first, since the 3m in a floor plan is usually the module centre rather than the opening.
How is this different from the Non-Backlit SEG Fabric Displays collection? +
Frame type. Those walls are rigid extrusion that bolts together section by section, or fixes to a solid wall, and they come in more depths and sizes including a 6m single face. These collapse. The lattice packs into a wheeled case and opens in minutes, which is what you want if the wall travels every month. The rigid frames hold a flatter face and last better as a permanent fixture, and they cost less per square metre.
Straight or curved? +
Straight for a shell scheme back wall, curved for a corner or open stand. A curve stands more stably without feet splayed into the aisle, and it reads as a designed shape from two approach directions rather than one. Straight gives more usable graphic per width and reprints as a simple rectangle. On a 3m x 3m stand with one open side, straight is the sensible buy.
Can I get a pop-up wall that holds a screen or shelves? +
Yes, two of them do. The SEG Popup Display with TV Mount & External Shelves carries a screen and product shelving off the same collapsing lattice, and the SEG Popup - Internal Showcase with Recessed LED Ring builds a lit display niche into the wall face. Both need a power drop ordered from the organiser, and every lead and fitting must be test-and-tagged to AS/NZS 3760 before the venue will let you switch it on.
What holds it up, and will it move if someone leans on it? +
Feet at each end of the lattice, and on wider walls at the intermediate uprights. A dressed 3m popup weighs enough to stay put against normal contact but it is not a crowd barrier, so do not build a queue against it. If your stand faces a busy aisle, weight the feet with a sandbag or set a counter in front of the wall to keep people at arm's length.
Can one frame carry more than one graphic set? +
Yes, and it is the cheapest way to run two brands or two campaigns off one purchase. The panels come off the frame in a few minutes, so you keep a second set rolled in a tube and swap them between shows. Order both sets at the same time if you can, because fabric printed in one run matches; a reprint months later can shift slightly in a large flat colour.
Can I extend the wall or add a header later? +
Within limits. A straight popup lattice is built to a set number of bays, so you cannot stretch a 3m frame to 4m, but you can stand two frames side by side and run them as one wall, or add a header above the existing frame. Adding a second frame means a second graphic set and a second case. Tell us at the start if you expect to grow and we will size the first purchase for it.
How do I choose a size and get an order moving? +
Send your stand number, its dimensions and which sides are open, and we will come back with the wall that suits it. From there you get a free 2D mockup to approve, and free artwork assistance if your files need work. The line is +61 7 3053 8668 and the inbox is support@backdropsource.com.au. Delivery anywhere in Australia is free, and the frame is covered by a 1-year warranty.
